...according to Prof. Philip Stott anyway, albeit for some rather strange reasons. It appears that our emeritus professor thinks that because a number of people and organisations act in hypocritical ways on the issue this means it doesn't exist. Nice clear thinking from a scientist.
On a related front, it appears that the Bush administration are not quite so certain - at least to the extent that they attempt to keep scientists who do accept the reality of climate change out of the media and then lie about doing so.
Another rewriter of history appeared on Newsnight last night (20 Sept) where Myron Ebell tried to claim that he did not suggest in 2004 that climate change was a plot by the EU to undermine the US economy. Fortunately we can listen again to what he really said so you can make your own mind up.
